This is precisely why we have such a high rate of outsourcing labor; by protecting people's jobs (guaranteeing them pay that they may not deserve), quality control suffers. Companies are bankrupt by this policy almost as often as The Political Bandit takes quotes out of context:

“the government should occasionally allow a terror attack in order to remind the American people there is still a war on terror and officially designated terrorists.”

Clearly this is not what Newt Gingrich believes, as he was merely making a point, as the author of this article (can we call it that?) was unsuccessfully attempting to do.

Just to reiterate that same abhorrently incorrect view,

Unions are bad juju. They cripple the American company from selecting the best worker to produce its product. By limiting the American company, the economy itself is thus limited, as it is [un]common knowledge that companies thriving inherently DRIVES the economy, and subsequently the worker.

Be patient folks; as soon as Obama is ousted, the workers will work, their bills will get paid, and people will finally get the "change" they deserve.

Having been to both "tea party" and "occupy" protests I find the commentary rediculous(1,2), both were non-violent and mostly addressing the same issues, only differing on which of the false choices of political parties they support (and dislike) and what the solution is. Did the commenter even watch the Rand Paul clip? (4) Paul CLEARLY STATED these were the beliefs of the DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE. (sic) You obviously know NOTHING about Rand Paul's (Rons son) philosophy of government (8) As the MIAC report was SECRET until leaked AFTER the election it could hardly be considered election rigging, more likely the source of the slander of Ron Paul supporters (and constitutionalists in general) was the Southern Poverty (sic) Law Center who regularly reports on the "threat" of various shades of constitionalists, militias,"truthers" and other believers in exposing government abuse of power, to law enforcement agencies at every level as dangerous, racist,neo nazi, anti-government, enemies who must be infiltrated and investigated.

I read through all of the "Domestic Terrorism" definitions, and based on said article it becomes clear that my government believes that I am a Terrorist. How can that be? We stand firmly in our belief of non-violence and when we write, rather than slandering people like Fox News and their compatriots, we provide substantiation and documentation to back-up our allegations.

I can't remember the exact verbiage, but remember that when Fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in a flag - and when that day befalls us, disseminating truth and facts will become illegal as the "State" morphs into our worst nightmare. Once Obama signs the Defense Authorization Bill, he will effectively destroy liberty and freedom in this nation until such time that the entire nation rises up in despair.

As far as Legislation that affects the general population of the United States, none has been so egregious (besides the Patriot Act) as the National Defense Authorization Bill of 2012, otherwise known as S 1867. With President Obama being a so-called "Constitutional Scholar," many Progressives and Liberals were hoping that Obama would Veto this unconstitutional bill and respect Habeas Corpus and the Rule of Law - but with new knowledge obtained from Op-Ed News, this is not likely to happen.

In fact, quite the contrary; it saddens many of us that once again, President Obama has taken the road to tyranny and authoritarian rule just as he did when he voted for the Patriot Act, apparently interested in gaining "centrist" points for the upcoming 2012 elections rather than representing the people and his oath of office to "protect the Constitution." Most of us were initially unaware that Obama had requested the provision for indefinite military detention of American citizens without charge or trial:

Senator Diane Feinstein recently confirmed that she was unable to excise Section 1031 in an email:

Like you, I oppose these provisions. Section 1031 is problematic because it authorizes the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process. In this democracy, due process is a fundamental right, and it protects us from being locked up by the government without charge. For this reason, I offered an amendment to prohibit the indefinite detention of U.S. citizens without trial or charge. Unfortunately, on December 1, 2011, this amendment failed by a vote of 45-55.

I was, however, able to reach a compromise with the authors of the defense bill to state that no existing law or authorities to detain suspected terrorists are changed by this section of the bill. While I would have preferred to have restricted the government's ability to detain U.S. citizens without charge, this compromise at least ensures that the bill does not expand the government's authority in this area. Based on this and President Obama's constant caving-in to the GOP/Tea Party Radicals, I see no reason to believe that his speech in Kansas is anything more than pure political rhetoric. If there's a "New Obama" in town, we won't be able to ascertain that until after the 2012 elections, and IMO, that is far too late for the nation and the people as a whole to know and understand that our Commander in Chief is nothing more than a professional politician and liar - not unlike the Congress that constantly votes for their own best interests, not that of the people who elected them to office.

I agree wholeheartedly with Mitch - vote the whole lot of these liars and thieves out of office and start all over again.

Thanks for the compliment and your extremely articulate reply. I wish that more Americans were doing their homework on these issues and it is our goal to raise the alarm while working hard not to create undue anxiety or panic.

I noted that earlier today, there was another 3.0 quake on the San Andreas Fault line just south of San Francisco that was then downgraded to a 2.9 Magnitude by the USGS - a trend that has been happening far too often. It would appear that they are attempting to minimize the impact these larger quakes have upon the public, thus their decision(s) to constantly downgrade the initial magnitude of quakes that are computer generated responses before they are analyzed by a Geologist. This trend began when the seismic activity began to increase and people like you and I began to recognize the risk and danger to our nation as a whole and have been attempting to warn the public of the real danger that these threats pose to the country.

If the Cascadia Subduction Zone does rupture, I believe that an eruption of Mt. Ranier will follow within six or eight months and worry that any 9.0 or above quake could also be a strong catalyst to a Yellowstone eruption.

Kudo's to you for your research on the dangers presented by the Caribbean threat, and for those who are unaware of this threat - please visit this link to educate yourselves in regard another major danger to the United States and the entire Caribbean area that is also showing increased signs of activity. Very informative article and koodos for telling it like it is. The authorities are in my opinion under a conundrum cry wolf or what? Some people have a sixth sense so to speak and see disaster on the horizon. I sense a happening but don't have a clue what will be. Nature as you have stated is alive and well and seems angry. One of the stories I've followed is below Puerto Rico. I understand Mega-Tsunami's have hit the Gulf Coast in past and that area is very active. In order to try and understand my inner feelings I've gone from following the Ring-of-Fire to Cascadia. Delved into San Andreas, local Volcanoes, and yes Mega-Tsunami's in the Pacific. I then read about El Hierro and viewed several videos of La Palma. I then shifted to the Mid Atlantic Ridge shot to Iceland and thought "Oh my God!" I traveled the internet seeking guidance for my strong senses out of whack and stumbled upon the Carribean. So where could our Nation see the first of what inevitably will occur many disasters as you pointed out in the future at some time. I sought a man who lived during my parents lifetime, Edgar Cayce. A Seer who had little education and gave honest reports while under self hypnosis. I realized that the Gulf Coast was in the cross-hairs. I then saw a report on Super Mega Tsunami's thousands of feet high hitting unsuspecting coastlines. How can man get their heads around something soo dramatic, we can't. Being prepared is the Key. I'd also like to say "PRAYER," is very powerful. Our military has stored 70 million body bags, food, built underground facilities and spent trillions not even the President knows what for. Personally I wouldn't let Obama near any useful info anyway. I don't believe the end is here just a Reckoning of sorts. Yellowstone has interested me since I found out about super volcanoes 15 years ago. Now it is thought in some circles MT. Ranier in combination with Helen and others share a coldrum of magma as large as yellowstone. Put San Andreas south to north,Cascadia, Volcanoes, and my favorite Mega and bye-bye California and west coast. Not to forget New madrid faultline in mid west. The map our Navy and government has begins to take shape. This has begun... I have no time frame but in the scale of things it will be soon! I just bought a 2005 chevy cavalier and it has 11700 miles on it and the speedometer-tac just went out, the fuel guage went haywire very common, to replace $300.00 for the part, not labor, it started to over heat,but the fan is comming on at 240 deg. come to find out the water pump has to be replaced by the dealer if not you have to buy a $50.00 tool to replace the pump, dealer $500.00 to replace pump,, for it is being turned by the timing chain.The pump is a bad design for the bearings on the impeller side wears out to soon, i bought the pump fpr $50.00 they put it on for $300.00, now the hydraulic clutch, the part here is $151.00, labor didn't ask...man what a lemon

After reading the Alternative News this morning, it is obvious that the OWC movement is still gaining traction and is expanding throughout the nation. The Police in several jurisdictions are getting even more violent and I fear that their necessity to bow to Corporate America and the Elites will lead this nation into bloodshed that is entirely avoidable. We know they are using Agent Provocateurs whenever they can, and the eruptions of violence indicate that the U.S. is quickly identifying itself as a Police State to the World at Large.

Even worse, I read an Editorial by Mark Karlin at BuzzFlash/Truthout that is a must-read piece, and if true, which we are fairly positive it is, indicates the government itself is involved in attempting to stamp-out the OWS Protests. This is a direct assault on our constitutional rights and cannot be tolerated.

Your comment doesn't make sense in relationship to the commentary, and, as usual, the GOP/Republican, Tea Bagger, or whoever you are that made the above comment did so with an extreme slant on the facts.

It's common knowledge that Bush drove the final nails into the coffin of our economy, and while I don't like Obama, insisting that it was the Obama Administration that is responsible for this economy is a downright lie. Communism? Where do you get that from? You talk about a full blown depression and fail to mention that it was Corporate America that outsourced over thirty million jobs during the past few decades and thereby eviscerated our tax base - collusion between both sides of the aisle - so don't blame this on so called Liberals. In consideration of the breadth and scope of the recent GOP
attacks on Main Street America, it becomes obvious that the GOP must work to
discredit the protests that are now growing larger and affecting even more U.S.
Cities. For their political agenda to succeed
it is necessary for the GOP's future to ensure that these protests fail;
therefore, I do not believe that my warning in regard Agent Provocateurs and

i had been takeing lunesta to help me sleep, and didn't have what i consider nightmares. i did have some very strange dreams, but started to experience a "hangover" for most of the morning. i was just feeling like crap all the time. i was prescribed effexor xr for the worsening depression. by this time i was "hooked" on the lunesta, and could not sleep without it. The depression kept getting worse. i was switched to cymbalta, which helped at first. within two months i was experienceing intense sweating, hallucinations, extreeme anxiety, hearing voices telling me to kill myself. my suicide attempt has resulted in my being disabled to the point that i'm now on social security. I have been trying to get over the sleep problems for the year since my suicide attempt. addiction to lunesta is worse than the original problem, but at $225.00 for 30 tablets is a huge money maker for the drug company. i beleive they have known the problems all along, but stand to reap huge profits due to the drugs potential for addiction. I took lunesta to get a good nights sleep. but instead have been unable to get into deep sleep ever since taking this drug.

I'm wondering if there's a reason for the "Too Fast for Conditions." I got the same thing at $205 as well. I've done a lot of volunteer work in Oakwood and at the college there. This will stop as will my patronizing of businesses there. I've dropped probably thousands of dollars into the businesses in Oakwood over the years as well. Probably more than in the little town I live in.
